Interventional Gastroenterologist with subspecialty training in interventional endoscopy.

She graduated from Monash University in 2010. After completing her physician exams in 2014, she undertook specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The Canberra Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney which she completed in 2017.

Following specialist registration, she embarked on a fellowship focused on pancreaticobiliary medicine in Cambridge, UK; training in both ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and endoscopic ultrasound.

In 2021 she undertook a further fellowship in Portsmouth UK focused on advanced tissue resection and management of early gastrointestinal cancers. This included training in artificial intelligence for early cancer detection, Barretts oesophagus and advanced endoscopic resection (endoscopic submucosal dissection) of early cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.

She has a special interest in

  • Diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, including National Bowel Cancer Screening faecal occult blood tests.
  • Endoscopic mucosal resection of large colonic polyps
  • Endoscopic ultrasound
  • Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
  • Small bowel capsule
  • Barretts oesophagus- surveillance and ablation
  • Early detection and management of cancers in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract including endoscopic submucosal dissection
  • The use of artificial intelligence in detecting early lesions in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract
